Olin College offers a unique curriculum focused on rigorous preparation in the fundamentals of engineering, project- and team-based learning, and the integration of engineering and business. This residence hall, Olin’s second, initiates Phase II of the College’s development on its 75 acres.
The design of the 182-student residence hall consists of suite-configured single- and double-occupancy rooms with kitchenettes and team study rooms. The program is distributed throughout three residential wings that converge at a circulation hub featuring a common lounge. The design encourages small group identity with central socialization. A fitness center and music practice rooms expand opportunities for recreation and study. The exterior design harmonizes with that of the College’s first residence hall and anticipates those of the buildings to follow.
