CBT Receives Mutliple IIDA Honors

CBT was honored with four awards at the New England Chapter of International Interior Design Association (IIDA) annual awards ceremony on February 27, 2014. CBT’s interior design work across hospitality, residential, and workplace design was recognized with the following four awards:

The Clarendon Penthouse, Best Private Residential Design
Clarendon Penthouse in Boston’s Back Bay integrates amenities traditionally found in a spacious home into its design, utilizing available space within a family living space. The unique design showcases a view of the Charles River on one side and the city skyline on the other.

Watermark Kendall East, Best Multi-Unit Residential Design
Watermark Kendall East, in the heart of Cambridge’s Kendall Square, was awarded for its sophisticated urban interior design program for this modern full-service high rise residential tower. The LEED certified development includes modern finishes and open planning that make the tower at home in this cutting edge neighborhood.

Hotel George, Best Hotel Design
Hotel George in Washington D.C. won best lobby/hotel design, which includes a redesign of 139 guestrooms, suites, and corridors into a distinctive destination to provide a more inviting and sophisticated guest experience and capture the revolutionary spirit with a modern twist in the Capital Hill neighborhood.

Analysis Group, Best Office Under 30,000SF
CBT’s workplace interiors team topped the Best Office Under 30,000SF category for their design of the Analysis Group offices in Washington, D.C. The new office space was designed to reflect the company’s energy and social culture while inspiring creative thinking in an environment that focuses on business strategy consulting.
