CBT Delivers Receives SMPS National Marketing Communications Award

CBT Delivers received First Place in the Target Market category at the 2010 SMPS National Marketing Communications Awards. The award recognizes excellence in marketing communications by professional services firms in the design and building industry.
CBT Delivers is a fresh and lighthearted short film created to air during previews at a summer film series. The film takes a unique look at how CBT “delivers” its buildings. Featuring the examples of an office tower, a college residence hall, a single family home and a new theater, CBT Delivers highlights the breadth of the firm’s work and captures the firm’s personality. The goal was to develop a multimedia solution that presents CBT’s scope of work to a broad audience. Additionally, it was developed as a marketing piece that could be adapted and used beyond the three-month summer film series on CBT’s website, YouTube, Facebook, in the firm’s lobby and as an interview tool.
The results from the screening during the summer film series are qualitative. The film received great praise from the local community and film series patrons. The film increased traffic to the Multimedia section of CBT’s website and truly captured visitor’s attention. In the first month of the film being posted, the webpage attracted over 200 visitors with an average time on the page of 2:38 minutes. On YouTube, CBT Delivers and the CBT Delivers blooper reel received 1,079 views and 471 views respectively.
