Wolf, Greenfield & Sacks PC

When intellectual property law specialists Wolf Greenfield & Sacks moved and expanded their offices to take up four floors in Boston’s Federal Reserve Building, they chose CBT to articulate, through interior design, the company’s philosophy of creative thinking and understanding of invention. It was of primary importance to the client that the design break away from the traditional heavy and dark law office look and project instead a sense of innovation, modernity, and flexibility. These objectives were all achieved through ample use of glass, open spaces, curving corridors, exotic materials like zebra wood for panels, and a surprising punctuation of space with points of bold color.

CBT’s design not only projects a clean, modern image of the company, but the use of translucent resin materials, customized with inset flowers, and the many glass-encased conference rooms, allow for privacy without obstructing the abundant natural light.
