The design is an elegant expression of the club’s long history and traditions and modern club functions and amenities, and creates a new identity and gathering place for its members.

Featuring a long, low, horizontal profile, the building combines a modern materials with traditional New England architectural forms including pitched roofs, deep porches, and a porte cochere. At first glance, the club has a familiar understated quality, but as one approaches clean, bold lines emerge. A black stone foundation, white masonry walls, and sophisticated detailing complement the traditional forms to create a contemporary, timeless expression.

The design was crafted to support a strong relationship between the interior and the exterior, with the building’s facades embracing the primary functions of the corresponding outdoor spaces. Internally, the design’s color, tone, and texture provide a residential quality that is warm and inviting. With clear circulation major function areas and space transitions provide a seamless guest experience that comfortably delineates public and more private zones.
