CBT Launches New Housing the Hub Website

We loved sharing our ideas for innovative, sustainable and affordable housing with our city at our Housing the Hub exhibition and discussion series as part of HUBweek this fall!

With more than a dozen civic and community partners, including the Mayor’s Housing Innovation Lab, Boston Society of Architects, Imagine Boston 2030, JMA, HUBweek, Rose Kennedy Greenway Conservancy and Mayor’s Office of Arts and Culture, this was truly a team effort! Together, we welcomed thousands of visitors to our exhibition, collected hundreds of community ideas, hosted five dynamic design discussions, and inspired countless new ways of thinking about housing in our city today.

Linda Pizzuti Henry, chair of HUBweek and Managing Director of the Boston Globe, summed it up well when she said: “The Housing the Hub exhibition this year was the gold standard of thinking and collaboration we only hope to have as part of HUBweek. The exhibition itself was incredibly creative, innovative, and even fun! Most importantly, though, it was used as a tool to convene local policy makers, creators, and the public to spark a meaningful dialogue around issues that matter to this community.”

An innovative online engagement platform, our new website invites community members and civic leaders alike to peruse our robust body of public research, read event recaps, learn about the latest developments in housing innovation from our thought leaders, share their own ideas, and even sign up to stay up-to-date on all things Housing the Hub!

We hope you will join the conversation!
