CBT provided unique interior design for the bar, lounge, and lobby, in addition to 100 guestrooms at this boutique hotel. CBT’s design for the Hotel Amarano is inspired by the ideal location in the vibrant heart of the entertainment capital of the world — just around the corner from Warner Bros. Studios, a mile from Universal Studios, and only minutes away from NBC Studios. Many influences for the design were generated from the various media centers and studios around design-inspired film citations, and luxury dispersed within each room. Read More

Designed for international and U.S. travelers alike, the intention was to embrace the strong connection between the hotel’s historical location in Lafayette Square and Paris. The design firm’s concept for the Sofitel Washington, D.C. exudes elegance, taking inspiration from the history and iconic designs of Paris and Washington, D.C., combining and celebrating both cultures. Puerto Rico Convention Center District

This ambitious development replaces a former naval base on the Isla Grande peninsula of Puerto Rico, across the canal from Old San Juan. The master plan and urban design transforms an existing master plan into a workable development scheme for the 113-acre site. To meet the goals of creating a convention/business destination and defining a new urban domain within the context of the city’s history, the original plan was divided into a system of smaller blocks scaled to blend with the character and climate of San Juan. The historic Boston Langham Hotel sought to redesign their lobby and reception area into a modern, distinctive destination to provide a more inviting and sophisticated guest experience. The Langham wanted a design that would address the relocation and reconfiguration of their reception desk and concierge into an elegant, well lit, timeless space that would individually accommodate the numerous daily lobby functions. Jabal Al Kaaba Master Plan

The master plan and design strive to create generous connections between two major zones, encouraging pedestrian movement through the site while minimizing infrastructure investment. Attempting to balance the need for density with a human scale, strong connections between outside and the inside spaces are emphasized. The planning and three-dimensional organization focuses on simplicity and flexibility, comprising six different buildings arranged around an independent circulation armature. Read More

Perched at the forefront of Boston Harbor, the Hyatt Boston Harbor echoes some of Boston’s most treasured qualities with memorable influences from the expansive Harbor views, interlaced with the city’s skyline that stretches out to the sea and historical brownstone neighborhood roots interspersed in fine detail. Every component of the new design is dressed in uncommon features that recognize the hotel’s distinct personality and originality as a contemporary airport hotel in the city of Boston, bringing authenticity to the design through the color schemes, various textures and materiality.
