CBT Reimagines Hilton Mystic

CBT is proud to announce that the interior design renovation of the Hilton Mystic in Mystic, Connecticut has been completed. CBT’s concept for the Hilton Mystic takes inspiration from the historical components of the town, combining and celebrating the town’s historical maritime past. Set on Mystic’s historic waterfront and infused with authentic design elements that evoke its unique location, the hotel offers an urban retreat that reflects the city’s iconic past and entrepreneurial present.

The hotel underwent renovations, most of which refreshed the lobby, bar, restaurant, conferencing, pre-function, corridors, meeting rooms including a vibrant new courtyard, cascading-water wall panels, large oversize MYSTIC sign at the concierge desk that visitors can enjoy and beautiful nautical detailing in the bar/restaurant. Irons & Grinnell is the namesake of The Irons, the new restaurant and bar which brings vibrancy and nautical flavor into the hotel from a 19th-century shipbuilder in Mystic, Connecticut. A reclaimed wood, metal, and a glass portal defines the entrance from the lobby to the bar/restaurant, which features an irregularly shaped central bar. Hung reclaimed windows act as dividers above the booths along the walls and colorful artwork between the booths spells out “Irons” in nautical code flags.
