KAFD Park is SITES Certified

King Abdullah Financial District (KAFD) Park is officially the first project in Saudi Arabia to earn SITES certification!

The Sustainable SITES Initiative is a comprehensive rating system that assesses an outdoor space’s sustainability throughout each step of its design, construction, and management. To implement thermal resilience in a notoriously hot climate, CBT designed nine shade structures installed throughout the site.
